Little Mama's: Experience Romantic Italian Dining in Charlotte

This restaurant is by far one of the best Italian restaurants — if not, the best one I have ever ate at! I’ve lived in New York, and have been to some of very good restaurants, and this one by far exceeds my expectations on all levels. Their mozzarella presentation is made with fresh to order mozzarella cheese that is to die for! I could eat an order of that by myself as a meal of its own, even though it is definitely big enough to share with two or three other people. Their pasta is homemade! Everything for the most part if made from scratch, and they use some of the best vendors to purchase the highest quality ingredients from! The service is always 5 stars! This is a great place for a special occasion! If I could only eat at one restaurant for the rest of my life, this may be my choice!

This was the best dinner! We took my mom for her birthday dinner as she requested and couldn’t be happier that we brought her! We had a reservation and though we were there early for our reservation we got sat immediately (definitely recommend a reservation). Our waiter Steven was Insanely amazing!! He gave us all of the recommendations/his favorites and we listened to all of them! The food was amazing, we got the mozzarella presentation to start, which if I could’ve eaten only cheese I would. Again I can’t stress enough how good the food, drinks and service was! We can’t wait to go back!

We had an incredible experience at Little Mama’s! Our server, Jonathan R., went above and beyond to make our evening special. He provided outstanding service from start to finish; friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable. He even brought us three wine samples to help us choose the perfect pairing, which was such a thoughtful touch. The mozzarella presentation was absolutely amazing, both in taste and presentation, and our entrees were just as impressive. Everything from the atmosphere to the food to the service was top-notch.

We had a great time at Little Mama’s at the South Park location. Our waiter, Moses was friendly and very knowledgeable about the good entrees. We had the freshly made ziti a la vodka with chicken and the broiled chicken with mashed potatoes. For dessert we ordered the tiramisu and a new dessert menu item, apple and walnut cake served with ice cream. Everything was delicious although the apple cake was dry and hard. I was asked for my honest opinion on the cake….I suggested that they serve it warm, as it may help it be more palatable. This location has ample parking. Great place for a date night!

Great authentic Italian food. We all ordered different items and were happy with everything. The Tuscan Salad was very good and large enough to feed 5 people as a side salad. My only suggestion would be to go for supper since the dinner menu has many more options. However, if your in the area for lunch, it's well worth your time.

Our first visit to Little Mama’s was for lunch, and overall, it was a lovely experience. Our waitress Emma was attentive, the homemade mozzarella was delicious, the bread and red pepper infused olive oil was a great combination, the pasta dishes were classic but each with a little twist, and the tiramisu was wonderful. I do think the Fettucine al Fredo would benefit from a little extra cream to offset the almost-nutty Parmesan, but that’s a matter of taste. It was still delicious. The homemade rigatoni with chicken and broccoli with a delicate lemon-cream sauce was superb as it was. The tiramisu was delicious, but I passed along that I think it would be even better without the chocolate syrup, or maybe with a little less? It was a great tiramisu on its own and didn’t need the syrup IMO. Others may love it though. All things considered, my wife and I thoroughly enjoyed it and plan to return for dinner soon.

From start to finish this restaurant was perfect. We were in town on girls shopping trip and this restaurant was recommended to us. The fresh pasta was absolutely delicious. Portions for the price were huge. The waitstaff was very knowledgeable and extremely friendly, which made you feel like you were at home. The brown butter noodles was the best thing that any of us had, but all of it was so good. Mary, the manager took the time to come over to our table and talk to us because she loved our matching T-shirts We had a lengthy conversation about her grandmother and her vacation and about the history of the restaurant and she ended up gifting us a free piece of cookie butter cheesecake, which was to die for. We cannot wait to visit little mama’s next time. We are in town and hopefully bring the husbands because they will enjoy this experience as well. Reservations recommended now that they are Michelin recommended.

Was totally taken aback by the quality of food, the staff, esthetics, music brought it all together. The price point was the cherry on top I got the combo eggplant and chicken parm. Which was filling, my boyfriend got the lasagna Subbed the spaghetti for penne vodka……All I kept saying was WOOOOWWWW…. The bread basket was probably why I couldn’t finish my plate. GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE !!!!
